Instruction Tailored to the Individual Student

Each student possesses individual characteristics which determine his or her most effective mode of learning. Age, level of advancement, pace and style of working, dexterity, coordination, ability to express emotions musically, and degree of dedication  all vary.

An Experienced Instructor Guides Your Talent

Successful teaching requires an experienced instructor’s awareness of and sensitivity to these differences, and his ability to tailor instruction appropriately. In a comfortable environment, Mr. Schubert’s students at Schofield String Studio are encouraged to feel free to learn in accordance with their unique personalities.

A Personal Statement

I began my violin studies at age 6 in a musical family where I was exposed to classical music and all the great violinists of the day. The sound of the violin made a profound emotional impression which nurtured a passion for performing and later influenced my commitment to music education. I regard the time spent with my students as precious. I hope to ignite that flame of passion for music and the learning process in each student.

Schofield String Studio was established in 1994.
